Batangas

Batangas City is famous for it beaches, marine life and flora. The dialect that they use is Tagalog. There are many ways to go around Batangas some are jeepneys and tricycle. You can choose the form of transportation you prefer, depending on the destination, the distance and your budget. Getting a chance to travel to different breath taking beaches can give you a choice to do many different activities such as wake boarding, jet skiing, wind surfing and other beach related activities. Aside from that, Batangas also offers different activities such as mountain climbing, bird  gazing,and a chance to play golf. There are lots of hotels to choose from. Some of the famous  food speciality are kalderetang kambing, Bulalo,  Lechon, Tapang Taal , Maliputo fish ,Tawilis, sinaing na tulingan and their world-class coffee called “kapeng barako”. Batangas beef is known as the best in the Philippines. Batangas being an agricultural province is rich with coffee plantations specially the city of Lipa. 



Fortune Island is a 27-hectare land lying 14 kilometers from the shores of Nasugbu, Batangas. In this tourist spot they have a white sand beach, blue seawater and Grecian themed structures. On top of Fortune Island are tall stone pillars and old statues – reminiscent of ancient Greece. Fortune Island has been the location of choice among different engagement shoots. You can go to this wonderful and breathtaking view by a private or public mode of transportation. Using a pump boat can cost you at around Php 3,000-4,000, while using a bus could cost you at around Php 200-250.  The Island is such a beautiful creation and the hidden beauty it brings. It is a perfect spot for people who love to dive.



Caleruega Church is known for its serene and spiritual atmosphere. The tag line of this place is “Close to nature, closer to God”. Aside from a church, this tourist spot also has a retreat house where visitors and travelers can stay and experience a spiritual journey. Inside the church you can find stained glasses where natural light reflects it. The glasses give a very soft and warm glow inside the church and an atmosphere conducive for prayers and reflection. The chapel’s interior is finished with wood, red bricks and painted concrete. They also have a garden with trees and colorful varieties of flowers. You can also see the Koi Pond, which is the best part of Caleruega, where it is filled with huge koi fish. There is also a series of metal stairways and beside it you can see benches where you can relax and enjoy the beauty of nature. If you’re planning to have a wedding shoot then you can visit Caleruega Church. You can also take pictures with the plants and butterfly sanctuary.
